Even if they didn't pay me, I'd still be writing code.

I'm a 5th-generation Coloradan who did my time in Silicon Valley after college. I've been enthralled with F/OSS ever since I installed Slackware 0.91 from floppies on a 25mhz 386 in 1992. Python has been just as exciting to me, and still is after five years of doing it full-time.

I helped get Oracle database support into Django and currently maintain that part of the codebase along with Ian Kelly. I do have several Django applications, but they're all inside our corporate firewall, so you'll have to trust me. :-)
