My software development dates back to about 1999, when I worked for a Realtor web site firm, parsing incoming real estate data with Perl and processing with MS SQL.
Since then, it's been more Open Source than not, and my focus with respect to building skill level has been more meta, on OO and Design Patterns.
Specifically, my last four years has centered on PHP/Mysql, however I'm returning to Python as I now work on a Django site ,with postgresql.
In 2004 I had spent several months learning python and wrote a windows-based backup utility also using wxPython framework.
Note: I'm open to either freelance/telecommute work, or a Full Time position.
