I'm a childfree transhumanist geek with strongly neophilic tendencies.

At the tender age of 29 years, I work as a web programmer for The Onion in Chicago; they're using a mix of Django (for new stuff, yay!) and PHP (for existing stuff, boo!). Prior to moving to Chicagoland, I worked at the Lawrence Journal-World (in Kansas — a far cry from my home state of New York), where a bunch of smart people continue to do wonderful things with Django.
