I started MilkandCookies.com in 2001. Previous sites were written in Perl, but PHP was the language of the web in 2001.

While working at Adobe, a developer pushed Python on me, and after reluctantly trying out yet another language, I never went back.

I rewrote MilkandCookies.com from scratch in Django with my friend Bryan in 2007. I love Django for it's elegance and flexibility.

I currently work at the Seattle Times in their New Media department.
